The Academy is back!

In August 2018 we’ll be moving into Grade II listed New Place in Porlock, using its walled gardens, surrounding woodland, hallways and cellars to offer those aged 6 to 18 a series of workshops focused on all aspects of site-specific performance.

This time, as part of Stacked Wonky’s year-long collaboration with the National Youth Dance Company, we’ll be welcoming some of its dancers as students, allowing our West Somerset youngsters to play and learn alongside them.

Collaboration and problem-solving lie at the heart of the Academy, along with lots of fun challenges.

Everyone is welcome… dancers, skateboarders, parkour-lovers, musicians, singers, photographers, film-makers, writers, performers, inventors and dreamers, or just the curious.
